Video Demo Of Adobe Flash 10.1 On The Motorola Droid
by The Robot Droid on Jan.13, 2010, under Video
Everyone has been patiently waiting for the release of Adobe Flash 10.1. The use of Flash on the Droid will improve user experience even more.
10.1 will have support for many mobile devices, including Super Phones, Smartphones, Netbooks, and other Internet-connected devices being used by consumers today.
Adrian Ludwig demos video and animation on the BBC, The New York Times, and Angry Alien websites on Android using the Verizon Motorola Droid A855.
After 4 years in the making 10.1 is sure to be a hit. Moving from a desktop application to a mobile app is a huge undertaking.
We can only imagine what roll Flash will take when it is combined with the Android 2.1 over air update coming. The UI will likely become more intuitive giving users a more interactive experience.
Notice how Adrian says "This is the first Android 2.0 device with Flash Player 10 on it". Without reading in to this very much it sounds like the Droid will be the first to get 10.1 sent the update, but that's just conjecture.
In any event we can't wait for this function to be available. It won't be long now!
Verizon Droid Messaging Commercial Running Multiple Applications
by The Robot Droid on Dec.03, 2009, under Video
Ya Ya we know. Getting tired of the commercials from Verizon. The company has taken a risk of over exposure, but they are cracking the Smartphone market. It has been reported that Verizon sold 250.000 (?) Droid sales are climbing. We don't have the hard data, but the general consensus is the phone is doing well 30 days after the release.
Verizon Elves are making Santas good and bad list in this one. Marking those on the AT&T map as "Being Bad".
Verizon Shows No Signs Of Letting Up On Commercials
by The Robot Droid on Dec.01, 2009, under Video
Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone and Verizon pushes forward with marketing of Droid.
The latest offering from Verizon is a commercial that taunts the prettiness of the other smartphone out there. They never come right out and say they are talking about iPhone, but it seems obvious they are.
These commercials are fun and entertaining so when we see them we will post them. Who knows how long Droid Marketing can keep this pace. They must be spending lots of money on these high tech TV Spots.
Verizon Droid Commercial Calls Phone A Robot Not Smartphone
by The Robot Droid on Nov.14, 2009, under Video
I say it every time I post these video's from Verizon and Droid. They will most defiantly make it to the Best TV Commercial Awards somewhere. They are just to cool for school. Verizon is really putting the boots to the iPhone commercials.
Though I like iPhone commercials and iPhone for that matter these videos really look technical and get to the point. In my opinion there is no comparison. They are diferant Cell Phone. iPhone is all fun and Android Phones are about the openness of the Android Project, capability, and adaptability.
Droid is more of a robot just like Verizon says. Users have been using it 24 hours a day since the release. Droid Does Everything.
UN-Boxing The Motorola Droid Cell Phone Video and Reviews
by The Robot Droid on Nov.08, 2009, under Video
So I'm cheap and waited for my Droid to be delivered. When you order the Droid on the Verizon Wireless Website they waive all kinds of fee's. The rebate becomes instant and they waive the activation fee too. Verizon will also Free Overnight Shipping of the Droid to your front door. Good deal if you can wait a couple days. They only do it during the week I believe. Instant Phone Rebate Only Available with Online Purchase. The links worked for us midnight Friday Nov 6,2009, but last we looked it wasn't up front on the Verizon Website
This is just a quick Droid Phone Review for now. We have lots of information to digest and video's to make.
I absolutely love the Droid Cell Phone! As far as function and capabilities the Droid is hands down the best I have seen in some time.
Like any new piece of technology it has a learning curve. Not bad though. I'm more of a developer and don't do texting, but I found the Android Keyboard easy after a few tweets. I particularly like the virtual keyboards.
As far as the connection and page load speed the Droid blows all other phones away including the iPhone. Where I live anyway. Once I was use to the menu and controls I found myself whipping through pages and navigating very easily.
One thing that really stands out is the capabilities of The Droid Cell Phone. Just in maps a user can tap on a location and the full power of Google is behind them. There are just to many function to go over the first day of having this powerful tool.
In short The droid can definitely benefit any user. It is easy to use and leverages the power of Google which is very impressive.
Enjoy the UN-Boxing and stay tunes for a series of how to use The Droid Videos. We will also be reviewing the top Droid Phone Applications and capabilities.

New Droid Stealth Video Commercial For The Google Phone
by The Robot Droid on Nov.04, 2009, under Video
The newest commercial for the Droid Smartphone is Stealth Fighters dropping pods filled with Droids. What in the world is that the guy says.
As the release day draws closers for this highly anticipated smartphone we are able to see what direction the marketing is going to take. At first the outright flame of iPhone appeared to be Verizon flipping the bird to AT&T and iPhone. Not so fast though. This is just marketing. Verizon has said since The Droid was announced they do still want the iPhone. The phones do use the some of the same technology.
This commercial takes a entire new direction from being a iPhone Killer Its more SiFi . The surface of the Earth is being bombarded with Droids.
I hope they have as many Droids in stores on November 6!
CNET Unboxing Of Droid By Motorola Smartphone
by The Robot Droid on Nov.01, 2009, under Video
Got to love CNet. They have been around a long time and the entire web trusts them for reviews and opinions of technology.
As the we progress up to to Official Launch at stores and online the amount of information available is increasing dramatically. More and more Droid Un Boxing Video's are being posted and those lucky enough to have one now are showing them off.
The overall feeling is once Verizon lets the public have this Best New Smartphone sales will be as good if not better than the release of the Blackberry Storm 9350.
