Sprint Announces Samsung Epic 4G Android Phone

Looks like the 4G HTC Evo will have company on the Sprint Wireless 4G Network. Sprint has officially announce the Samsung Epic 4G Android Phone. The release date is August 31, 2010 and the cost is $249.00. RadioShack, Best Buy and Walmart, and Sprint Store. The above price is with a new line or eligible upgrade, two-year service agreement, after a $100 mail-in rebate (taxes excluded).

The Epic will launch with Android 2.1 Eclair, but Sprint said it plans to upgrade Samsung Epic 4G to Android 2.2 in the coming months. which includes EAS support, improved browser performance, including Flash 10x support, voice dialing over Bluetooth and application storage on external memory."
