We have all heard of the voice search function in Google Search, Navigation and some text apps. Google has announced a entire overhaul of the function and has renamed it to "Voice Actions for Android"
What Voice Action can do that the previous version could do is work. In the past with us anyway the function could never understand every word spoken.
Google has added many new ways to use your voice to interact with Android 2.2 phones. Even though our phones do all these new things, the most natural way of interacting with a phone remains what it always has been: speaking. Voice Actions are a series of spoken commands that let you control your Android Phone using your own voice. Call businesses and contacts, send texts and email, listen to music, browse the web, and complete common tasks, all just by speaking into your phone.
